Rockland Wind Farm, LLC (Rockland) is an 80MW wind power project located in American Falls, Idaho, which achieved commercial operations in December 2011. Atlantic Power indirectly owns a 50% interest in Rockland, in partnership with Diamond Generating Corporation.
Rockland has a 25-year power purchase agreement with Idaho Power Company under which all electricity produced by the wind farm is sold at fixed prices.
The wind turbines are manufactured by Vestas and supported by a 10-year operations and maintenance agreement with Vestas. Rockland is operated and managed by our affiliate, Ridgeline Energy. We acquired our interest in Rockland in conjunction with our acquisition of Ridgeline Energy in December 2012.
